FAQs

  • Clintonville Moms and Dads Club is a paid membership. We are a close knit group of parents looking to build community. Members must fill out a full membership form and pay annual dues of $15. Scholarships are available. Membership dues support member events and holiday parties.

  • Yes. We accept new members in the Clintonville zip codes of 43214 and 43202, and up to one mile beyond. Also those who work, attend school or church or other activities that indicate a significant relationship to the Clintonville community are accepted as well. Members who move beyond our club’s boundaries may stay a member. However, if they leave the group, and want to rejoin in the future, they will not be able to do so unless they return to the Clintonville area.

  • Parents and children must be healthy to attend an event. Please wait 24 hours before attending an event if you, or your child, has had a fever, or any contagious illness. If you are hosting an event and have to cancel due to illness, please see if another attendee would like to host before canceling. We ask that you please wait 48 hours if you have had a stomach bug. If you have attended an event and discovered you or your child had a contagious illness, please notify the other attendees.

  • Please be considerate and respectful of others and their property. Help to clean up after an event, closely watch your child(ren), and please refrain from using obscene or abusive verbal language or gestures. Malicious gossip or harassment regarding other members of the club in person, on social media, via email, or phone/text will not be tolerated.

  • We expect kids to be kids. Please watch your child(ren) closely and intervene, removing your child from the area if necessary, if they are demonstrating aggressive behavior that is harmful to persons or property. Aggressive behavior may include hair pulling, hitting, spitting, scratching, biting, kicking, and/or inappropriate behavior such as unwanted touching. Please use your best discretion on if you and your child(ren) are able to remain at the event.

  • Members may bring a guest with them to organized public events. Guests are defined as friends or family who do not live within this chapter’s boundaries. If a member wishes to bring someone to an organized event that lives within the club’s boundaries and has children, the person is considered a potential member. Potential members can attend 2 events before they are invited to join the group.
