May 20 is Virtual Advocacy Day, hosted by RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association, in partnership with the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). Federal Advocacy Day is a nonpartisan event where the infertility community and their friends come together to talk to Members of Congress about topics like access to care and financial relief; supporting those of us in the LGBTQ+ community and single parents; that insurance should cover treatments for fertility issues (including IVF); that fertility preservation should be covered for cancer patients and others undergoing medical treatment that may risk their fertility; and that everyone should have access to the standard of care they deserve.
